New Dental Patient Walkthrough
Are you a new dental patient, or thinking about becoming a patient? We make the process easy!
If you haven’t already, you’ll start by calling us at (586) 771-1990 or stop by during business hours. We ask for basic information so we can send you new patient paperwork (don’t worry – it’s easy!) – a registration form, a privacy statement, and our Smile Evaluation. If you don’t get it finished before your visit, that’s ok! We’re happy to help when you arrive at the office for your appointment.
For your first visit, the hygienist will take you to the exam room, offer our special heated neck wrap and hand mitts to help you relax, and make sure you are completely at ease before we start. If you are here for a cleaning, after it is complete, our dentists will meet with you and check over the preliminary work before beginning their own. Please ask our dentist any questions you have! We’ll always encourage questions – and all staff members are ready to answer. We are committed to informing our patients of everything they need and/or want to know about their dental health.
When we’re done, you’ll be given time to relax and unwind. We’ll escort you to the reception area to schedule your next visit.

How will I pay for my first dental visit?
We accept nearly any method of payment and will work with you to fit your situation. Whether you are insured, want to pay out-of-pocket (this is also called “Private Pay”), or if you need to finance your dental work, we’ll work to make it easy on you.
Here are some of the methods of payment we currently accept:
- Delta Dental, Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Delta Healthy Kids
- The majority of other insurers such as PPOs, etc.
- Checks & cash
- CareCredit – which allows a year of interest-free credit if you qualify. We can get you pre-approved
We regret that we cannot accept Medicare or Medicaid at this time.
